What customers say?

“ November 2025 Walking around Kawagoe's old storehouse town, you'll find a variety of sweets for sale, but this long-established shop dates back to the Edo period and even has a museum attached to it. I had some dorayaki, which was delicious with a refined flavor. I wanted to buy some sweet potato yokan as well, but gave up because of the two-hour carrying time limit. ”

“ The staff gave me very good advice with impressive service. Also, I bought and forgot my master card before closing time and the young lady staff ran to me to take back my master card, I have to say thank you again. I would come to buy this shop again. ”

“ If you want to satisfy your sweet cravings, this is the spot in Kawagoe. Red beans, pastries and other deliciousness are here. ”

“ My daughter brought me a turtle-shaped dorayaki as a souvenir from her trip. Both the smooth and granular bean paste fillings were exquisitely sweet, and the skin was moist and fluffy. My daughter was also impressed by how beautifully it was baked in this shape. ”

“ As others have written, I highly recommend trying the Kawagoe sweet potato cream puffs! The aroma is amazing. One really isn't enough. There were also many other cute and stylish Japanese sweets for sale. They would make a great souvenir from your visit to Kawagoe. ”

“ Been here in Mar 2023 Overall is so-so. Not so good but not bad to try. Monaka's price was quite high. The product life span was too short to buy as a souvenir for foreigner. If you want to try, I'd recommend the turtle stuffed with red bean. Since the price is okay, it's cute and delicious for those who like red bean. ”

“ October 4, 2025, Morning I arrived in Kawagoe Little Edo on a bus tour just before 10:00 AM, and while strolling through the warehouse-lined streets, I discovered a shop in a stunning building. I was attracted to the Kame Dorayaki, but since I love chestnuts, I also purchased a Chestnut An Daifuku (263 yen). The filling was white bean paste with chestnut kernels, and the outer skin was chewy, soft, and delicious. ”
